[22:31] 1 tn Heb “his righteousness.” Here the noun צִדָקָה (tsidaqah) refers to the Lord’s saving deeds whereby he vindicates the oppressed.
[22:31] 2 tn Heb “to a people [to be] born that he has acted.” The words “they will tell” are supplied in the translation for stylistic reasons.
[40:10] 3 tn Heb “your justice I have not hidden in the midst of my heart.”
[40:10] 4 tn Heb “I have not hidden your loyal love and reliability.”
[50:6] 6 tn Or “for God, he is about to judge.” The participle may be taken as substantival (as in the translation above) or as a predicate (indicating imminent future action in this context).
